Kidnapped (Part 2)

Taylor opened her eyes to find herself in a small unfurnished room. She put her head in her hands and then remembered how she got here. She thought that it was just a bad dream. But it was happening for real. She rubbed her bloodshot eyes with her pale white hands. The top her neat fingernails were now broken and jagged. Her clothes were crumpled and some parts ripped. She was sitting on the cold marble floor waiting for something to happen. A muscular man with olive skin and short black hair opened the door to the room. Wordlessly he dragged her outside and set her down on the floor inside an office with polished wooden floor and a large oak table in front of a black leather swivel chair which had its back to them. "Boss", the man said in a deep voice with a slight Jamaican accent,"Here she is." And the chair turned. Taylor wasn't sure what to see. Maybe a man with half his face burnt sipping a bottle of beer with a cigarette in his other hand? A muscular g...

Kidnapped

Taylor hugged the brown paper bag tightly to her chest. Blowing her brown hair out of her face she looked around. She was standing at the bus stop waiting for her school bus to arrive. Taylor lived in an unknown neighborhood not too far away from her school. There was no one else at the bus stop. She was 12 years old with high cheekbones and a skinny build. It was raining and the ground was slippery and wet. Ever since she was child, Taylor had always loved the smell of wet earth. Feet slapped the wet pavement relentlessly and now it was raining so hard, it was hard to see. Taylor rubbed her cold hands on her rosy cheeks. She closed her eyes for a moment. Unfortunately, it had to happen then. Two pairs of rough hands grabbed her by her waist and one of the men who it belonged to, slung Taylor over his shoulder grunted under her weight. She screamed loudly, kicking and thrashing around wildly. A cold hand clamped over her mouth and her voice was muffled and soft. She struggled and tr...

Airborne (Aftermath)

White flashed before my eyes and my head hit the roof of the plane.  The paper i was writing on was torn from my grasp by the force of the air. I rubbed my bloodshot eyes and the plane exploded. ********** The wreckage was later examined and after a while it was concluded that there had been no survivors. The crash had been caused by a fight. Apparently the co-pilot had been carrying a bomb in a pice of tin foil embedded in some chewing-gum.  And the pilot, being an ex-soldier had shot the man through his head. Knowing he should try and concentrate he locked the doors to the cockpit and made a vile attempt to steer the plane to safety. But they hadn't made it to land in time.  The whole crew had died including the pilots. All the 153 passengers had been killed apart from one person. They compared the data of the people that had departed to that of the dead bodies. After the comparison it was concluded that only one boy had survived and judging by the name scrib...

Airborne

We took off from the airport at around 3:00am. After a while, seatbelt sign went off and I pulled out my iPhone, and played a few games of FlappyBird while listening to my favorite song over and over again. My dad kept trying to get me to fall asleep, but I didn't listen. There was no TV in the flight and I noticed I wasn't the only one getting bored on the 10-hour-flight. People began eating for entertainment. They were so bored they ate to keep themselves distracted. I was actually sitting between my mother and father in the middle row of the plane To get to either of the bathrooms I'd have to wake one of them up. I got up and looked around. Most people were asleep. I sat back down and tried to control myself. After a while it was too much and I couldn't take it any longer so I I got up. I nudged my dad and he woke up startled. Oblivious the fact that the rest of the people were asleep he said loudly," Thanks for waking me up. I needed to pee too....
