Cliffhanger

The man stood at the edge of the steep cliff. It curved outwards such that it was 'bent over' for the man to stand on it. He was young and muscular, his blond hair tossed to one side. His hands drowned in his deep pockets as he huffed furiously, yet waiting patiently for the Client to arrive. He wore a black leather jacket which waved in the wind. A muscle bulged out and the jacket was curved over his bicep. This particular man, Chris was in no way stronger than the Client. Although he had a sinewy build and could subdue 5 trained men armed with submachine guns with the disadvantage of being unarmed, he was nervous. He had never met the Client before though he had carried out many jobs for him. He didn't even know whether it was a man or a woman but due to the respect and power of the Client, he presumed it was a man. Chris was an important member of the Company, an organisation that carried out jobs for the Client from murdering people in a rather harsh and violent manner to cooking food for the Client. Most of the employees had never met the Client may never. Only the best agents stayed close by the Client. He had waited his whole life to meet the Client. He was one of the most promising agents in the Company and had been given the honour of meeting the Client. Chris had been at home taking a bath when a peace of paper was slipped under the door. He immediately grabbed a Glock from his jacket hanging from the hook and aimed at the door. He kicked open the door strolled outside and glanced around. No one. He couldn't believe it.  He picked up the paper he scrubbed his hair with towel. He couldn't believe his eyes.
So as he stood there on the lone cliff, he smiled to himself oblivious to the SAS professional lying on his belly about a kilometer away. A red laser dot positioned itself on the man's forehead.
Chris noticed the laser beam on pointing towards him and without thinking jumped of the cliff into the abyss below. His fate lay in God's hands.
"Tango has been terminated", the SAS agent said, almost laughing at Chris.
He to didn't know the amount of trouble he had landed himself into. He had simply done what he had been told, shoot the man on the cliff. For him it was simply a promotion.
But when the Client arrived it was something else. Questions still remained, almost hanging in the air whether asked and some remained unanswered.
As of what SAS know, the Client, is simply an infamous employer, who gets jobs done for himself. worse is yet to come. Who is the Client really?
